ta l’orange
Made the mistake once of trying this. Your tastebuds might not recommend even at this price haha
Yours, or mine?
Its that bad?
It’s super salty but not bad. Still good at $7. Prefer the original duck confit
I much prefer the raw breasts (when half price as well) and just sear and oven them and do up a really simple orange sauce to drizzle over them.
I prefer the roast duck at the Chinese takeaway places.
Yeah, just ~$30 for the entire duck.
Less mess, fresh and no washing up!
If you are in Melbourne try Pacific House roast duck. It is absolutely the best roast duck I have ever eaten. They are famous for it.
Which is something entirely different…..but thanks anyway
I’ve never tried this flavour and am a bit doubtful it works.
Anyone who loves the duck confit (like me), who has tried this, and can give an opinion on how it compares in yumminess?
My response: Yeah nah! Confit legs are a far superior ingredient. The more Luv-a-Duck get creative, the more, I feel, that they diminish their brand.
KISS principle.
It’s very sweat and not as good as confit ones, nor the red Curry ones.
TIP: This thing needs to be warmed up in oven then finished off in pan so you get a bit of caramelisation and the sauce will thicken too. It tasted ok especially at half price.
Poor (profanity) animals.
